Many people don't think about nighttime being a good time to do photography since there's a lack of light. However, armed with knowledge about your camera's settings and the properties of light, nighttime photography can be a lot of fun.

In this meetup, you'll learn about the best camera settings for nighttime photography. We'll also explore the kinds of light available to us and how to use that light to make some awesome photos. As always, there are exercises that will help you put your new knowledge to work.

This photo was taken at the base of the mount in Henley in Arden , it is very close to my house , only about 500 yards can see it from my bedroom. It?s a walk I do a lot and these trees fascinate me , it reminds me of standing in a cathedral !!

Keanu is pampered, he is a good dog, who likes people a lot in general. He knows how to do a lot of things when he's asked, but since he's quite stubborn, sometimes he just decides he's not in the mood to listen&128514 , he likes to snuggle up in bed with us and always wants to be near us, wherever we are. I think this picture pretty much describes it, because as soon as someone comes, he is either right next to them or climbs on their head. He likes to play with his Gummy Bears, and with h

A part of the movie LIFT was made in this location. There's a famous castle called Miramar. Interesting thing is when they made that scene at the castle they put that the castle was somewhere in Tuscany but it wasn't.

This shot was taken on my first day into this trip. My wife and I decided to spend Labor Day weekend in the mountains which was wonderful but also very busy which isn't the best for wildlife photography. However, I did come away with some good shots from my outing (mostly landscape) and this is by far one of my favorite. I love how the light is striking the deer's face while he is mostly shrouded in shadow. I took this with a Nikon 200-500mm @ 500, 1/160s, ISO 100 and f6.3. I shot this across th

Was out looking for anything to photograph on one my few days off from work. So I went to the plot of land where I deer hunt. Any wild flower that may still be in bloom, insects, things like that. Tons of grasshoppers everywhere and I came across this fella. I didn't realize he possibly had a wounded left wing until I processed the photos. No wonder he sat thru many different angles, exposures, and me getting up in his face and didn't offer to fly off. I saw the sky start to get some color after looking too overcast. I grabbed my gear and went down to the road behind where I live. I had gotten a few shots of the headlights going the other way and it was too much of a contrast with the sky. I got set up, with the camera low to the ground and got a couple test shots. Then shot this at 5 seconds.
